Hotel Polonez

I have stayed here a couple of times and am staying again in a couple of days. The hotel offers great value so long as there is not a big conference in town. The rooms are a bit dated but always clean and fairly spacious. linen is old but spotless and the hotel is quiet. Food is reasonable and the breakfast is good. Location is fine, just a short walk into town and it feels very safe around the area at night. Staff are always very polite and helpfull if a little distant. If you are on a budget and want a consistant (if fairly low level)hotel then this is great, I have paid about zl 150 a night inc breakfast, not bad for 2 people but it is not suitable for a romantic getaway! she will not be impressed!

Frolic Goats Hostel

The hostel has a great location and breakfast is incredible (one of the best I've ever tasted in a hostel). Rooms and bathroom are just correct. However, be careful 'cause on weekends there's a lot of noise on the street due to the discos and could result diffciuclt sleep...

Sheraton Hotel

Loved Poznan. Had been to Krakow last year and was nervous of having a letdown, but was not disappointed. Our hotel was a less adventurous choice but it turned out to be a bankable one. A great holiday!

Hotel Gold

I liked this place a lot but found it a bit of a hassle getting to town. If you have your own motor it would be fine

Hotel Lech

Struck me as a very 1970's style decor with a Fawlty Towers style bar. On the plus side, clean, central and reasonably priced.

Domina Prestige Poznan

I must say I was pleasantly surprised. Should have expected it as Domina hotels are reputable, and Poznan residence was no different.

Frolic Goats Hostel

Be sure to have your mobile on you with their phone number because it's a bit hard to find at first and you may need to call for directions once you're there (as I did). But otherwise the Frolic Goats Hostel was great, the staff helpful (even put up with my 3 phone calls whilst I was trying to find the entrance), the beds and rooms and toilets are clean and the common area is nice - highly recommended in Poznan! And the location is superb!

Frolic Goats Hostel

Friendly newly created hostel in the most interesting part of the old city for travelers. Thanks Radek for helping us to rebook flights and train travel.Good showers. Needs a sign so print out the 'how to find us'. I'd go there again with no hesitation.Nice people staff and visitor wise. Go before too many tourists go to Poznan.

Sheraton Hotel

wouldn't usually stay in a 5 star but was treating the girlfriend ( and myself :) ). stayed in the frolic goats the previous night. it worked out at about 140 for the two of us for the night. when we arrived the staff at the reception were very unfriendly. but the rooms were gorgous. the location to the city center isn't convenient but it is if going to the trade center which is straight across from the enterance. the pool and sauna facilities were good and the buffet breakfast was gorgeous
