They are among the best known football clubs in Poland, and are easily the most popular in this part of the country. They have won the Polish league six times since the 1980s, and have lifted the Polish Cup five times - and the Polish Super Cup four times. For 2012, as well as seeking domestic glory, Lech's Stadion Miejski will be one of the Polish host grounds for the European football championships.
