World Press Photo Arrives in Poznan

The Castle ("Zamek") Cultural Centre in Poznan is the next host for the award-winning World Press Photo exhibition which features the year's best in photos from international press. The exhibition follows a grand opening in Amsterdam where the non-profit organization is based as well as an annual photography contest.

The exhibition also features the 2010 winner, the famed portrait of Afghan 18-year-old Bibi Aisha taken by Jodi Beiber. Two Poles have also walked away with prizes in the 2011 competition, including Tomasz Gudzowaty and Filip Cwik who took third place in the People in the News category.

The exhibition is open until 20 May in Poznan.
