Poznan Prepares For Euro 2012
Although question marks still hang over the Ukrainian fixtures of Euro 2012, Poznan's place in the cup is now set in stone, much to the delight of local soccer fans.
May's official UEFA announcement saw Warsaw, Gdansk, Wroclaw and Poznan scoop the honours, whilst Krakow and Chorzow's hopes were dashed.
Now the work must begin in earnest on making Poznan's stadium world class. This month, the most delicate phase of the construction process got underway, namely the roof.
The stadium is set for completion in 2010.
