Robert Plant at Malta

Robert Plant, the legendary rock'n'roller that fronted Led Zeppelin, will be gracing the stage at Poznan's own Malta Theatre Festival this summer. The festival will take place the 25th through the 30th of June, with Plant's performance taking place on the evening of the 26th.

Don't expect Zeppelin-like antics or music though - the aging rocker will perform with his current project, Strange Sensation, the band he's been playing and recording with for several years now. The band is closer to folk than classic rock, but we expect true fans of Plant would show up even if he were playing an oboe in a trumpet and oboe band (now there's a strange concept - Radiohead, we thought of it first!).

And the best part? The entry's free! Though expect it to be pretty packed, Poles know how to rock with the best of them.
