Ryanair is launching 11 new routes from Liverpool John Lennon Airport this week. Services to Santiago, Inverness, Wroclaw, Aberdeen, Kaunas and Ancona started today while services to Santander, Poznan, Tampere, Krakow and Alghero start later this week. The new routes will operate three times weekly, except for Aberdeen and Inverness which are daily and Tampere which is four times per week.

The airline started services from the airport in May 1988 and now serves 34 destinations from there. Ryanair estimates that 600,000 passengers a year will use the new services.
