***Dome Vikingow has closed.

A fantastic spot on the Rynek to enjoy some fantastic food, a few drinks or some disco dancing. Dom Vikingow is favoured for its delicious steaks and its troop of dazzling waitresses. The recently opened sports bar at the back of the restaurant has satellite TV and features most Premiership games. Downstairs, the club is a popular destination for people who like eurodance music and a good eye-full of scantily clad females strutting their stuff. Also on-site is a separate cafe and cocktail bar, making Dom Vikingow an ideal destination for families, sports fans and clubbers alike.

Dom Vikingow

The steak was too small. I understand I'm in Europe but it was child's play. The taste was delicious though. The "International Sports Bar" sign is misleading. Several TV's downstairs broadcasted snooker, darts, and some soccer. When I asked to change to the football game on Sky TV, I was denied. I don't think customer service was a focus during the communist times. Not worth the price...

BELLISSIMO LOCALE COMPLIMENTI A PRESTO

reviewed by ANTONINO from Italy on Nov.03.2008

To jeszcze nic. Ostatnio bylem w restauracji La Scalla w Poznaniu.
Wszytsko ladnie pieknie, ale jak czlowiek tam dluzej siedzi to jest
cos nie tak. Tylko jeden kelner i jedna kelnerka (a kolak duzy). na
danie trzeba bylo czekac ponad godzine, zapomnieli o zamowionym
napoju. Ceny dosc wysokie ale do przejscia bo lokal pierwszoligowy -
do klienta - zaje..a niespodzianka).
Poznanskie targi wychodza bokiem:). Omijajcie La Scalle !!!!! w Poznaniu
bo to dorobkiewiczowy lokal.

Sports bar? would not put the England France rugby match on for me and my friends even though the place was empty, we found a bar called coxy's instead owned by an English guy and ended up having a top night.

Went there to try and watch a Liverpool match recently only to be told it was closed, went back at the weekend and the same again. We were told until recently there had been an English guy in charge but since he left the place is always closed. Will not be going back again.

this place has it all. we were in poznan early sept for two days and spent nearly a full day there. the food was good. you pay a little more for eating on the rynek than restaraunts further out but it was worth it. It looks like one of the livelest places in the city, the bar is nice but downstairs is the party is. is was pretty full when we were there and a good atmosphere and some beautiful ladys :)

Hi, i have been living in Poznan for some months now. My sister arranged a meeting for me at D.W. and I must say, that I have been addicted to this place since. This place have everything that you need. I have been at the restaurant many times, and every time it has been a great experience, very good food and extremly good vine. So this is a top place to visit in every way. Ps: I will continue visiting this place.

Any foreigners going to this pub should be careful about being over-charged.
They have a nasty habit of adding a few extra drinks on to your bill, if you are not paying attention.
Also reservations mean nothing, if friends of the owners want your table you will be asked to leave or will turn up to find out you have no reservation.
Sadly both of these examples are true.
Brought some English friends there, they were disgusted that when we complained to the owner, he simply turned his back and walked off.

Hey, i am a med student here in poznan; for all the foreigners in our program. Dom Vikingow is the best foreigner friendly place in poznan. They know how to treat you right. On occasion there may be a bitchy waitress;rarely; and they are hot regardless. The food is great, fine dinning upstairs, futbol matches on plasma screens. We all love it there, and visit a few times a week. They accommodate to our tastes. I think i would flip if this place wasn't in poznan.
