Many tears were shed in Poznan at the news that the formidable Eskulap club was closing. After all this was the venue responsible for making Poznan the nation's electronic music capital, inviting the likes of Marshall Jefferson and Smokin' Jo onto the decks. Not to matter! Out of the ashes of Eskulap, the mighty SQ was born. Slicker, sexier and with an even more ambitious musical programme SQ has ensured that Poznan's nightlife has continued in fine form. Virtually every weekend sees another top international act on the ones and twos and Cassius, Futureshock and Kiki have already added SQ to their impressive CVs. Eskulap is dead... Long live SQ!

Had a mental time year - not touching Polish vodka again... Or at least not for a few weeeks!

man gutted i missed Cassius at SQ. Did catch them live at the Sziget festival in Budapest though. Blew my mind! Come back to Poznan your froggy genii!
