Kisielice

Kisielice can pride itself on its musical diversity and great atmosphere. Visitors to Poznan who get tired of hearing Sting and Pink Floyd (no offence!) can find a world of alternative sounds here. The cream of the local alternative bands perform alongside some national and more obscure international acts. Film screenings and exhibitions are also part of the Kisielice agenda. Resident and guest DJ's like Czarek and the Naked Trouser Collective regularly air a variety of styles from punk through to electro. Despite the lack of dance floor it's not unusual for Kisielice punters to push back the furniture and cut shapes until the small hours of the morning. More power Kisielice!

Best place in Poznan by far! Kisielice is definitely not your standard dressaze and frytki-filled crappy club, but actually original music can be found here!

I came in here twice during my winter visit. Both times I heard some very decent music (from bands whose names I totally can't remember... though I probably woulnd't be able to pronounce them anyway). Add to that some good pints and good company and I had myself a good time. Wathc out for this city, man! I promise you you'll hear about it more and more!

Good crowd, good music. Reckon i'll be holed up in here this winter.

I was really impressed to see Calvin Johnson playing here. Great gig, great place. Let's see who they'll have on next time.
