Kaiserhaus website

Built as a residence for the German Emperor Wilhelm II between the years of 1904 - 1910, the Kaiserhaus is the largest example of Prussian architecture in Poznan. The original furnishings were sadly ruined during reconstruction work in the Second World War, and the structure of the castle was damaged in 1945. Recent fortifications have ensured its place as a popular tourist attraction and its once blackened outer walls have been cleaned to give the castle a much friendlier face. This Neo-Romanesque marvel now also houses the Zamek Cultural Centre which includes the Blue Note Jazz Cafe and The Dubliner music clubs.

i can't believe this place... the site itself is gorgeous, but i loved the cafes/clubs.
